HEALTH NEWS

  • Dr. Arthur Heliotis, a respected internal medicine physician who emigrated from Greece in 1960 and practiced in Norwalk for over 50 years, died of cancer days before his 77th birthday. A large turnout at his funeral in Stamford underscored his lasting impact - his dedication to patients lives on.  News 12 Connecticut

SPORTS NEWS

  • Maxim Naumov, a Simsbury native, was named to the U.S. Olympic men's figure skating team after winning bronze at nationals on Jan. 10 in St. Louis — honoring the legacy of his late parents who coached him at the International Skating Center of Connecticut. He will compete next month in Milan.  The Hour
  • Patriots assistant coach Ashton Grant, a Connecticut native, helped quarterback Drake Maye secure his first playoff win Sunday. Grant began his career at Manchester High School and set receiving records at Assumption before earning NFL coaching credentials through the Bill Walsh diversity fellowship.  The Hour
