Gov. Lamont and state revenue officials joined nonprofit tax preparers at the Werth Center at Connecticut State Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport yesterday to highlight free tax services for lower-income and older residents — including programs like VITA and AARP — to help residents claim unreceived federal tax credits.
