  • Former Swiss pastry chef Otto Hassig, owner of the Norwalk bakery the Swiss Pastry, died Jan. 23 at age 95. He was known for early morning baking routines — his work and family legacy remain an enduring part of local history.  The Hour

  • CT State has extended interim President Christina Royal’s term until June 30, 2027—her leadership will support enrollment growth, dual enrollment partnerships and a new nursing certificate program at the Norwalk campus to meet community needs.  The Hour

  • Mac Forehand, a CT native born in Norwalk and raised in Fairfield, qualified for the men's slopestyle final at the Olympic Winter Games in Italy — the final will be held Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. ET.  The Hour
