  • Fairfield native Mac Forehand nearly won Olympic gold in Big Air freestyle skiing yesterday in Livigno, Italy when he landed a historic nose butter triple cork 2160; judges scored him 98.25 before Norwegian Tormod Frostad edged him with a 98.50 score.  The Hour
  • Darien and New Canaan, ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the GametimeCT boys hockey poll, will clash at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Darien Ice House for a second head-to-head matchup this season, while Wednesday and other Saturday games feature additional top-10 contests.  The Hour
