Access Health CT opened its free Broker Academy Program yesterday to help train aspiring licensed health insurance brokers — the program aims to reduce uninsured rates, while applicants must be 18 or older, hold a high school diploma or GED, provide up to three letters of recommendation, and demonstrate community service experience; the deadline to apply is March 31.
