  • Stamford-based Purdue Pharma submitted a revised settlement plan on March 20 that asks a bankruptcy judge to consider a deal requiring Sackler family members to pay up to $7 billion and relinquish control of the company.   • United Illuminating cut nearly $70 million in investments in Connecticut on March 20th after regulators denied most of its rate increase request. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Connecticut Municipal Development Agency—formerly the Redevelopment Agency—said it will launch a study to explore new housing and mixed-use projects near transit hubs and main streets.
