  • Reed’s Inc., a beverage maker from Norwalk, announced Tuesday that its CEO stepped down after less than a year on the job; interim CEO Neal Cohane (formerly the chief operating officer) began the search for a permanent replacement as the company works to improve profitability.  The Hour

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Aquarion Water Co. is merging into the nonprofit Aquarion Water Authority, which will use the same pipes, pumps, ponds and people. State regulators approved the change after a two-year debate, and the merger will close in May – customer rates are expected to rise up to an 82 percent increase.  The Hour

  • High school seniors across Connecticut report multiple Ivy League acceptances, with students in East Hartford, Norwalk and Greenwich choosing among offers from Harvard, Yale and Columbia.   • State and local leaders gathered in New London Wednesday to celebrate the start of electrical production at Revolution Wind.
