  • Fast food workers at 23 CT highway service plazas will begin a union contract on April 1 through March 1, 2031 after years of fighting for better pay and hours. Gov. Ned Lamont brokered the deal, and union leaders expect it to boost worker stability + set a change model.  Connecticut Public
