  • Ponus Ridge STEAM Academy Drama Club students will perform 'Into the Woods Jr.' next week at Ponus Ridge, 21 Hunters Lane—one show on April 4 at 7 p.m. and a second on April 5 at 2 p.m.—with tickets costing $8 for students and $10 for adults. The show features mainly 7th and 8th graders and comes after many weeks of hard work by cast and crew.  Nancy On Norwalk
  • Norwalk was named one of Connecticut’s top 100 places to live by Niche.com — earning the 84th spot with an A-minus overall grade and honors as the 4th Best Suburb for Young Professionals and the 5th Most Diverse Suburb. CULTURE NEWS

  • Norwalk Art Space will present SIGHT AND SOUND: Artists Consider Long Island Sound, a summer exhibition curated by Richard Klein that will show work by over a dozen artists highlighting the region’s ties to Long Island Sound. The exhibit will run from June 12th—August 28, and a reception is planned on June 12th from 6—8 p.m.  Nancy On Norwalk
  • Opera lovers in Norwalk can enjoy a one-night concert today at 7:30 p.m. at the Norwalk Concert Hall when Fairfield County Chorale presents soprano Kathryn Lewek and tenor Zach Borichevsky — a program led by Music Director David Rosenmeyer that features arias from classics such as Carmen and La Traviata.  Nancy On Norwalk

  • The Board of Estimate and Taxation held its Budget Review Deliberations Meeting Wednesday night and advanced the FY2025/26 operating budget for Norwalk after over two hours of public comment on cuts to schools, transit and social services — with only one board member dissenting — as many residents urged deeper investment in critical programs.  Nancy On Norwalk
  • On March 28th, Connecticut Vietnam War veterans gathered in Rocky Hill to reflect on the harsh treatment they received after returning from war, including being denied service and called names. State officials praised their service and urged veterans to use support programs to aid their recovery.  Connecticut Public
