Dr. Damon Lewis, principal of Ponus Ridge STEAM Academy, was named Connecticut Middle School Principal of the Year by the Connecticut Association of Schools — recognizing his leadership in lowering chronic absenteeism and increasing equity.
He will represent the state in the National Principal of the Year Award Program and be honored at a national conference in Seattle in July.
