  • Norwalk-based Xerox named Louie Pastor its new CEO + replacing Steve Bandrowczak who led the company since August 2022. Pastor, previously president and COO, will steer the printer and software business into its next phase + focusing on strategic growth and operational changes.  The Hour

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • NOAA forecasts warmer temperatures from May through July in Connecticut following a cold, snowy winter. Officials noted that improved spring moisture in the state contrasts with drier conditions elsewhere — a change linked to the end of La Niña.  The Hour

  • Paige Lorenze’s Fairfield home is pending for $2.49 million—she and tennis star Tommy Paul recently purchased a Connecticut house that features a big barn, guesthouse and on-site tennis court.  The Hour

  • UConn fans celebrated a buzzer-beater win over Duke on Sunday night with watch parties in Milford and South Norwalk, and local alum Marc D'Amelio shared his excitement online (one fan even suffered an injury from jumping).  The Hour
  • The Connecticut Sun will finish their season at Mohegan Sun Arena before moving to Houston for 2027 after the Mohegan Tribe agreed to sell the team. Gov. Ned Lamont & community leaders praised the franchise's lasting impact on local sports.  The Hour
  • UConn earned its 25th Final Four berth after beating Notre Dame 70-52 on Sunday, Mar. 29 in Fort Worth. Coach Geno Auriemma celebrated with a cowboy hat dance, and the undefeated team will face South Carolina or TCU in the semifinals on Friday.  Connecticut Public
