  • Connecticut Deaf Theatre (in collaboration with Little Theatre of Manchester) is set to present a bilingual production of Little Shop of Horrors from May 1 through 3, featuring both signing and speech for full accessibility. Tickets are $24.  The Hour
  • Olympic gold medalist Laurie Hernandez brings her athletic flair to Broadway’s & Juliet at the Sondheim Theatre through June 14, joining local talent Norwalk’s TikTok star Charli D'Amelio in the production.  News 12 Connecticut

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Over 100 local girls spend their spring break exploring STEM in Stamford with SoundWaters’ Science Stars program, where elementary students attend classes at the Coastal Education Center and middle schoolers learn at the Harbor Center with scholarships covering fees for most.  News 12 Connecticut

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Norwalk may earn $1.5 million a year if a Senate bill is approved, diverting half of its meal tax revenue back to local projects — Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff noted local eateries generated $3 million from the surcharge in 2025, and Mayor Barbara Smyth called it a win.  Nancy On Norwalk

  • Zillow data showed that rent increases in Norwalk rose by 2.3% in February compared to last year, reflecting a flattening trend in some Connecticut towns amid an ongoing apartment boom. The study noted that while modest gains occurred in Norwalk, 25 of 40 locales experienced larger hikes from last year.  The Hour
