  • 29 students from the Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts will perform The Star-Spangled Banner at Yankee Stadium today before the Yankees face the Angels, celebrating America's 250th birthday. The event underscores the conservatory's commitment to live arts education.  The Hour

  • The Norwalk Public Library reinstated passport application services last Friday after a six-year pause due to staffing changes during COVID, and now processes new U.S. passports by appointment only.   • The Connecticut high school baseball poll from April 13 shows two Southern Connecticut Conference teams—undefeated Xavier and Daniel Hand—joining the top 10, while Lyman Hall became unanimous No. 1 with a 10–4 win and Norwalk moved up to No. 4 after Fairfield Warde defeated it.  The Hour

  • The Bridgeport Islanders clinched a Calder Cup playoff berth with a 4-1 win over the Hartford Wolf Pack in their final regular-season home game at Total Mortgage Arena on Sunday.
