A Norwalk man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting a man in the leg on Fiske Street in Fairfield on April 17th at 10:45 a.m.—the shooting arose from an ongoing dispute and police reported that he was already in custody on unrelated charges.

Area theaters announced their 2025-26 season with Western Connecticut State University set to perform 'The Comedy of Errors' on October 31, Music Theatre of Connecticut planning to run 'Rent' from Sept.

26 to Oct. 12, and The Bushnell Theater scheduling eight Broadway shows from September to June—Hartford Stage will present a spring run of 'Death of a Salesman' and TheaterWorks will start its 40th anniversary season in October.

The Sunset Stroll will be held at The Point at Norwalk Cove. We will have passed around appetizers, entrees, and a signature drink. We will have elected officials and program participants as speakers. We will also have scavenger hunt for the guests to learn about all of our amazing programs. There will be a silent choice auction and a live auction with amazing items.
