- ➤ A one-day Culinary Arts Celebration highlighting local food, arts, and farming communities will be held May 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Norwalk Art Space—co-hosted by The Westport Farmers Market and featuring renowned chef Bill Taibe with free admission for all. Nancy On Norwalk
- ➤ The Norwalk Seaport Association will launch its 2025 cruise season this May with bird-watching cruises starting May 4 at 7:30 a.m., sunset sails scheduled from May 21 to May 31, and Sheffield Island Lighthouse tours beginning May 24 from 70 Water St.—each trip set to highlight the local maritime heritage and natural beauty. - ➤ Students at Brien McMahon High School filmed anti-bullying video scenes on Wednesday as part of a youth-led campaign organized by Norwalk Community Health Center and Norwalk Public Schools. - ➤ The Norwalk Partnership will host its fourth annual mental health walk and wellness fair tomorrow, May 3, on Norwalk Green at 8 Park St from 9 a.m. to noon to mark Mental Health Awareness Month and National Prevention Week, offering free health screenings, interactive exhibits, family activities, and an awareness walk at 11:30 a.m. — local officials, community groups, and speakers including Mayor Harry Rilling will participate, with a rain date set for May 17. The Sunset Stroll will be held at The Point at Norwalk Cove. We will have passed around appetizers, entrees, and a signature drink. We will have elected officials and program participants as speakers. We will also have scavenger hunt for the guests to learn about all of our amazing programs. There will be a silent choice auction and a live auction with amazing items.
