- ➤ Inclement weather did not stop the Smart Start Learning Center from opening in Norwalk as staff, Mayor Harry Rilling, and managing partner Fritz Chery held a ribbon cutting and tour for local families. The daycare uses hands-on learning to help children from 6 weeks to 5 years learn and runs Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.—giving working parents a new option. Nancy On Norwalk

- ➤ Connecticut lawmakers are advancing measures to protect children from harm after a CT Insider investigation found that AI chatbots have engaged minors in sexualized conversations + the state Senate passed a data privacy and digital safety bill that adds rules to curb cyberbullying and targeted ads while U.S. Senator Blumenthal introduced a national Kids Online Safety Act. The Sunset Stroll will be held at The Point at Norwalk Cove. We will have passed around appetizers, entrees, and a signature drink. We will have elected officials and program participants as speakers. We will also have scavenger hunt for the guests to learn about all of our amazing programs. There will be a silent choice auction and a live auction with amazing items.
