EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ City officials met with the superintendent Tuesday and proposed a plan to add about $6 million to the school budget by combining $3 million from state funds and $3 million from city money, which would raise the total increase to $15 million. The proposal includes keeping arts and music programs as they are and delaying discussions on a contract extension for the superintendent—while the board postponed its meeting to review the offer.
