- ➤ Connecticut stayed 8th nationally in children's well-being from education and health data but dropped in economic and family measures according to the 2025 Kids Count report published yesterday. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Yesterday, the Norwalk Board of Education accepted an agreement that saves teaching jobs by reinstating planned art and music positions and adding $3 million from state funds and $3 million from city funds to complete a $15 million budget—officials praised the move and said the board will soon vote on the initiative. - ➤ Gov. Lamont said he will sign the sweeping omnibus housing bill only after lawmakers agree to key changes—especially giving towns control over where new housing is built.
