Easton developer Steve Shapiro unveiled a $50 billion, 14-mile hybrid rail and vehicle bridge-tunnel proposal—featuring tunnels that aim to protect the shoreline—designed to ease NYC traffic and promote regional growth between Bridgeport and Long Island.
