The Gold Coast Mahjong Club — started by two local moms — teaches residents mahjong and hosts upscale social events and retreats.
The group plans league games at The Galley in Norwalk and other local venues this summer after teaching over 1,000 players.

The Travelers Championship, celebrating its 75th anniversary, will run from Thursday, June 25 through Sunday at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell.
Top-ranked golfers will compete, while pre-event activities include a charity golf competition on Tuesday and a Celebrity Pro-Am on Wednesday.
