- ➤ Norwalk will host its annual Independence Day Concert and Fireworks Celebration on July 3 at Calf Pasture Beach with a rain date on July 5— the event will feature live music, food trucks and a fireworks display over Long Island Sound. - ➤ Connecticut Attorney General William Tong said the state is considering all legal options after learning that Avelo Airlines operated removal flights for ICE deportations following a protest at Tweed New Haven Regional Airport on April 17.
