Norwalk Public Library’s Video Game Club started nearly five years ago during the COVID-19 pandemic to give families a free virtual gaming space.

Hosted by Aldo Araujo, the club streams family-friendly games on Fridays from 4 to 6 p.m. on YouTube—viewers join the chat with a YouTube account.

The First Taxing District will kick off its Summer Concert Series this Saturday with a free live performance by Perry and Friends on Norwalk Green from 7 to 9 p.m. at the corner of Park Street and East Avenue — if it rains, the concert will be rescheduled for Friday, July 18.

A motorist fled the scene after a bus caught fire by Exit 16 on Interstate 95 Tuesday night in Norwalk — officials said the fire started just before midnight.
