Officials celebrated the opening of Norwalk’s first community recreation center on South Main Street in South Norwalk Thursday with a ribbon-cutting.
The $6 million facility, partly funded with a $2 million federal grant secured by Rep. Jim Himes, will offer limited summer programs and expand activities in fall.
