  • More than 1,000 people attended a Community Day Festival at the Point at Norwalk Cove on Sunday to celebrate plans to turn a crumbling power plant into a public park called Manresa Wilds. Organizers said the final park design — which will reconnect the community to the water after more than 75 years — will be revealed at the end of the year.  News 12 Connecticut
