  • Airbus is waiting for engine deliveries from Pratt and Whitney after a machinists strike in May slowed production, and officials expect recovery by the end of the year. Pratt paused operations at its Middletown plant for scheduled maintenance from July 5 to 9—efforts that are key to meeting future delivery targets.  The Hour

CRIME NEWS

  • Norwalk police raided the Smokey Bear smoke shop on North Main Street on Friday and seized about three pounds of THC products, including gummies, prewrapped joints, loose marijuana and bottles of nitrous oxide as part of an investigation into an illegal marijuana operation run by Stamford woman Cielo Davia (24) who faces charges and is scheduled to appear in court on August 15.  The Hour

  • Governor Ned Lamont said Monday that Connecticut is fighting to keep the Sun here as a potential $325 million deal by Steve Pagliuca remains unsettled and must be approved by the WNBA.
