- ➤ Immigrant advocates from Danbury, Norwalk and New Haven rallied outside Danbury Superior Court to demand that state lawmakers strengthen the TRUST Act as ICE presence surged statewide. - ➤ Connecticut officials have condemned online hate and threats against State Rep. Corey Paris after his post about an ICE presence in Stamford led extremist groups to share his address and target him with racist taunts—police are investigating the incident and leaders from both parties have denounced the harassment. - ➤ The Norwalk Police Department introduced its first law enforcement support canine—K9 Chance—on Wednesday morning at police headquarters.
