Connecticut’s fall foliage season will begin in northern towns around Sept.

Early voting for municipal primaries in over 20 Connecticut towns starts Sept.
2 and runs through Sept. 7—registered party voters can vote early or request absentee ballots for qualifying reasons—polls open on Sept. 9.
Norwalk Common Council member Greg Burnett died Thursday, according to Mayor Rilling.
He served as a devoted community leader for nearly 30 years while city flags were lowered to half-staff in his honor.
