- ➤ Norwalk awarded nearly $150,000 in mini-grants to 18 small nonprofits to strengthen community-rooted services in health, education and the safety net — the funding was approved by the Common Council and announced by Lamond Daniels and Mayor Harry Rilling. The Hour
- ➤ The old dirt track field behind City Hall will undergo a $2.5 million state-funded upgrade that will replace its gravel track with a new rubber surface and add LED field lighting for better sports and community use.
