GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Government officials held a groundbreaking on Sept 23 for the 2.7M West Rocks Sidewalk Improvement Project in Norwalk, which will add ADA—compliant raised sidewalks and crosswalks along West Rocks Road from Cannon Street/Adams Avenue to Creeping Hemlock Drive to improve safety for local school children. Funding came from a $1.4M federal grant, a $1M grant from the Local Road Accident Reduction Program and a $600,000 match from the city.  Nancy On Norwalk
