EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On Oct. 6, Common Council candidates met at Nathan Hale Middle School to discuss education and school funding under the ECS formula. Several candidates urged coordinated action between the Council and the Board of Education—calling for fair state aid and local budget reform—so Norwalk can better support its schools. - ➤ Mayor Harry Rilling issued a proclamation on Tuesday recognizing October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in partnership with the Domestic Violence Crisis Center + local groups.
