  • A second Key Food supermarket will soon open at 190 East Ave. in Norwalk as it replaces the former Rite Aid store. Mayor Harry Rilling said the new store will create local jobs and provide fresh, affordable food near the East Norwalk Train Station — permits are still being finalized.  The Hour
  • A sign outside Norwalk CVS—reading 'we're still nearby'—shows the store is still open as it plans to close in November.  The Hour

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • At the Greenwich Economic Forum, Governor Lamont warned that if New York elects Zohran Mamdani and he enacts far-left policies, Connecticut’s financial sector may suffer—although an influx of New Yorkers could eventually boost the state’s economy. He stressed that any change in New York’s policies could have mixed effects on neighboring Connecticut.  The Hour
