- ➤ Residents in East Norwalk urged officials to save a large oak tree at Cemetery Street and Gregory Boulevard during a Sept. 24 hearing, stressing its role in the local environment — city officials placed its removal on hold as they review alternatives while needing a new drainage pipe.
