- ➤ During the nor'easter on Sunday and Monday, gusts in Connecticut reached nearly 50 mph—Bridgeport Airport recorded 48 mph early Monday. The storm caused tens of thousands of power outages—rain fell steadily across the region. The Hour
- ➤ Residents in East Norwalk urged officials to save a large oak tree at Cemetery Street and Gregory Boulevard during a Sept. 24 hearing, stressing its role in the local environment — city officials placed its removal on hold as they review alternatives while needing a new drainage pipe.
