Norwalk Preservation Trust is hosting a one-time guided bus tour on Sunday, Oct.
19 at 12:30 p.m. that gives visitors a rare chance to see the inside of historic artist homes in Silvermine where figures like Alexander Rummler and John Vassos lived—tickets are limited.
🌲 Environment
State drought coordinator Becca Dahl confirmed that parts of Connecticut, including Fairfield, New Haven, and Middlesex counties, remain under stage two drought as dry conditions and increased summer water use continue.
Connecticut Water asked residents in affected towns to voluntarily reduce water usage—such as turning off automatic outdoor systems—to help preserve supplies for public health and safety.

Connecticut’s pro hockey season is underway as the Danbury Hat Tricks, Bridgeport Islanders and Hartford Wolf Pack play games that feature quick starts and early fights—drawing strong local support.
