ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • State drought coordinator Becca Dahl confirmed that parts of Connecticut, including Fairfield, New Haven, and Middlesex counties, remain under stage two drought as dry conditions and increased summer water use continue. Connecticut Water asked residents in affected towns to voluntarily reduce water usage—such as turning off automatic outdoor systems—to help preserve supplies for public health and safety.  Connecticut Public
