  • Playhouse Sono, a new soft play cafe, will host its grand opening on Nov 1st at The SoNo Collection on the third floor, replacing the former toy retailer CAMP. The venue will offer ball pits, plastic slides, climbers, a dedicated toddler haven, birthday party bookings and a cafe serving treats from a New York bakery—curated by founder James Hendershot.  The Hour

  • Karen Cruz will honor her late husband’s fight against pancreatic cancer by leading a one-mile walk at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk—arranged by Project Purple with Lowe’s to raise funds for research and support. This event, organized by his coworkers, is a tribute to a man remembered for his kindness.  The Hour

  • Data from the U.S. Census Bureau showed that in Western Connecticut the median gross rent was $2,100 in September while monthly homeowner costs were $1,800. Experts noted that statewide, rent increased faster than buying costs — prompting more buyers to consider purchasing homes for long-term value.  The Hour

    The Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts proudly presents the explosive Broadway musical Footloose, opening Thursday night, Nov. 13 at 8 PM at The Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport and runs through Sunday, Nov. 16th.
