  • United Church of Rowayton will host Tellabration on November 1 at 7 PM—featuring students Callie Harper and Leah Henry along with professional storytellers Laconia Therrio, ChaChanna Simpson, and Ron Sophyha. EDUCATION NEWS

  • On Oct. 27, candidates for the Board of Education and mayoral positions met at Ponus Ridge Middle School to discuss education funding, equity, and parent engagement in a forum organized by the CMS PTA.   • Governor Ned Lamont announced a $3 million emergency grant to nonprofit Connecticut Foodshare to buy food supplies and start an outreach campaign—meant to support nearly 360,000 SNAP recipients as the federal shutdown leaves benefits set to end soon.  Connecticut Public

  • FOOTLOOSE the MUSICAL OPENS TOMORROW NIGHT!

    The Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts proudly presents the explosive Broadway musical Footloose, opening Thursday night, Nov. 13 at 8 PM at The Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport and runs through Sunday, Nov. 16th. Brimming with vitality, heart, and hit songs, Footloose showcases the Conservatory’s outstanding musical theatre students in a production that celebrates the power of expression and the joy of dance and brings fresh life to this beloved story of a small town finding its rhythm again.
