- ➤ Federal officials expanded a recall of ByHeart baby formula after a nationwide outbreak of infant botulism had hospitalized 15 babies, and the company voluntarily recalled all of its Whole Nutrition Infant Formula products. Connecticut parents were warned Tuesday by the Department of Public Health to avoid buying the product and to discard any formula at home—health care providers were advised to monitor infants for symptoms.
