Good morning, Norwalk. Here's your local news at a glance for Saturday, the 22nd of November.

CULTURE NEWS

  • The Norwalk Youth Symphony will open its landmark 70th season tomorrow at Norwalk Concert Hall with over 200 young musicians from Norwalk and 25 surrounding towns playing in six orchestras. The concert celebrates decades of community support — a legacy that began with a single orchestra in 1956 as the program grows with future shows on March 1, Mother’s Day, and June 7 at Carnegie Hall.  Nancy On Norwalk
  • Anthony Cardinale from Trumbull spent five years restoring a 1932 Indian Scout so it runs with its original parts and design. He searched for rare parts from Europe and kept the bike authentic — preserving its history.  The Hour

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Norwalk Public Schools officials explained the 2026–27 budget process at a town hall Wednesday night, noting rising costs, reduced federal funding, and strong community support for classroom staffing and mental health services.
