- ➤ The Norwalk school board unanimously approved a $263M budget on Tuesday night to stabilize the district amid ongoing staffing challenges in local schools. The proposal adds nearly $16M in costs—including a $10.7M increase for salaries—and will next be reviewed by the Common Council Finance Committee in February. The Hour
