- ➤ Norwalk's Charter Revision Commission voted Tuesday against adding a Common Council member to the Board of Estimate and Taxation after rejecting proposals (nonvoting 7 to 2 and voting 5 to 3 with one abstention) amid debate over power and transparency. - ➤ Officials say mosquitoes from 21 Connecticut towns have tested positive for West Nile virus this season, though no human cases have been reported so far — experts expect virus buildup to continue through September.
