A community refrigerator was unveiled yesterday in Norwalk as part of a partnership between Food Rescue US and Community Health Center Inc.—it supplies fresh, locally sourced food to help combat food insecurity.

It will be open on Tuesday and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for all residents.

This Sunday the Bigelow Tea Community Challenge will be held at Wakeman Boys and Girls Club in Southport from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.—over 800 people are expected to join the event featuring a 5K run, 3K walk, kids fun run, and virtual options to support local charities.
