Norwalk police announced a new ordinance that requires vape shops to secure a license or face fines, suspension, or revocation if they sell illegal drugs—R and R Convenience and Smoke was the first cited after illegal cannabis and nitrous oxide were found.

On Oct. 6, Common Council candidates met at Nathan Hale Middle School to discuss education and school funding under the ECS formula.

The Norwalk Health Department started its annual flu shot clinics today at its office at 137 East Ave as Mayor Harry Rilling, state and local officials, and dozens of residents got vaccinated to lower severe illness during flu season.

Additional clinics are set for Oct. 16 and every Thursday from Oct. 23 with appointments required.
